1. Educational Qualifications

2. Age Limit (As of January 1, 2026)
- For Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 years.
- For all other Technical, Tradesmen, and Pioneer posts: 18 to 23 years.
(Standard upper age limit relaxations apply: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).
3. Physical Standards (PST)
- Height Requirement: 170 cms for Males and 157 cms for Females. (Relaxations are provided for ST candidates and those from hilly/North-East regions).
Salary Details
Selected candidates will be appointed as Group C (Combatised) employees and placed in Pay Level-3 of the 7th Pay Commission.
- Pay Scale: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100.
- Allowances: In addition to basic pay, employees receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, Free Medical Facilities, Uniform Allowance, and Hardship Allowances for field postings. Expect an initial in-hand salary of roughly ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month.
Selection Process
To wear the CRPF uniform, candidates must successfully clear multiple qualifying stages:
