The Indian Navy has released the official notification for Agniveer (MR-Musician) 02/2026 Batch under the Agnipath Scheme. This is a unique defence opportunity combining a music career with Navy service. Both unmarried male and female candidates who passed 10th class with 50% marks and hold valid music certificates can apply. Monthly package starts at ₹30,000 and goes up to ₹40,000 in year 4, plus ₹48 lakh life insurance and ₹10+ lakh Seva Nidhi on completion. Training at INS Chilka, Odisha from July 2026.

Educational Qualification
Matriculation (10th) with minimum 50% marks
From a board recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Grade-based results must be converted using official board formula.

Music Certificate (Mandatory)
Degree / Diploma / Grade / Competition Certificate
From a recognized musical institute or organization. Must have proficiency in at least one instrument (keyboard, string, or wind). Jazz Drum, Snare, Bugle & monotone instruments are NOT eligible.

Minimum Height: 157 cm (Male & Female)
Vision: 6/12 uncorrected, 6/6 corrected, Colour Perception Pass. Tattoos only on inner forearm or back of hand — elsewhere disqualifies.

Jazz Drum set, Snare Drums, Cymbals, Bugle, and other indefinite pitch or monotone instruments are NOT eligible.

Tuning, Matching Notes, Prepared Piece, Sight Reading
Performance of Scale / Raaga / Taala with basic theory knowledge. MAT is the MOST IMPORTANT stage — final merit is based on MAT score.

Step 3 — Photo Upload (Special)
Recent passport photo holding a black slate
Write your NAME and PHOTO DATE in white chalk (capital letters) on a black slate and hold it in the photo. Photo must not be taken before March 2026.
4️⃣
Step 4 — Submit & Download CLAC
No corrections allowed after 26 April 2026
Review all details before submitting. Download Call-up Letter cum Admit Card (CLAC) from website after 10 May 2026. No physical admit card will be posted.
